I saw a weird looking bug in el salvador? what was it?

It was like a black rectangle with 2 pointy things on one end. There was also a yellow diamond on its back and i could not see a face at all. When ever i walked by it, it would put its pointers up at me..i didnt know if it was poisonous or not so i left. Any clue what it could be? Ive been trying to figure it out..but ive never seen anything like it
