I want to live in Florence,Italy for a couple of years. How do I make it happen?

We already visted a few years back and loved it. I want to live 2 -5 years in Florence, and leave NYC behind. It would be with hubby and 2 kids under 5. I might be able to convince Grandma. I speak/write Spanish. We both have degrees and are in management. What should I do to make it happen, besides learing Italian?
