I've taken the bus from Florence to Siena on two different occasions. It's very reliable, comfortable and clean - just like a nice tour bus ride. Actually, the bus to Siena is probably the most popular bus route from Florence. It's always filled with tourists. Plus, there are many roundtrips between Florence and Siena per day. The only thing you have to worry about is deciding what to do when you get to Siena. :-)
You can buy a ticket on the same day you plan to go to Siena from the bus station right across from the main train station in Florence. |
