When is the best time to visit galway during the summer? |
Travel Info any music festivals, art exhibitions, shows, etc.? Travel Tips The Galway races are on the last weekend of July, so the place is packed that week. There's a great atmosphere, but it's really busy in town. The Galway Arts festival is on from the 17th to the 30th of July and it's brilliant. It's definitely a great time to go, even if the city is jammers, it's well worth it. You'd have to be quick about booking accommodation though, the site below is a great hostel if you're interested.
