Travel Tips Westport isn't a city but its a pretty nice town to stay in-one of the nicest in the country for tourism! Its also closer to Knock. If you want city though, then go to Galway, also nice! Or see Castlebar closer again and about the same size as Westport. -Personally I'd say Westport. If you are flying to knock airport there will be car hire there for you, as with all of the international airports. there could be a bus service form the town to the basicila.
