Travel Info Now with the new 7 wonders poll, outcomes are affecting the people of different cultures all around the world. Are you active in this poll, an do you care, and why? Travel Tips I care about it. I think it will definitely help the tourism industry of every nation that has a world wonder voted. Many tourists like to make it a goal to see all the places on the list. I really hope that the results are not one-sided. For example, the ONLY African place on the list is Timbuktu. I think Timbuktu should be chosen. It has a lot of history and Africa deserves to have one of the wonders. I don't think the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Christ Redeemer, or Neuschwanstein Castle should be chosen. These are simply not up to the level of the others! Petra is a good candidate. I would not be upset if Petra made it. I forget which locations I actually voted for, but I do remember that my votes were spread across theglobe! Others Petra should be a wonder, it amazing that how meticulous a city of stone can be carved, the history. I dont think the poll should mean too much, its others people's "opinion" on what they think is what, most of the people polling probably hasnt even been to 1 of the 7 wonders. Petra is unique and cannot be underestimated. Media polls are irrelevant to a place like Petra. |
