Travel Info i'm doing this project on africa, and i need info, so anything would help, I need someone who's personally lived in Libya or know anyone who currently lives there. Q: How was life in libya? A: Q: Whats a typical day like in Libya? A: Q: What should a person visiting Libya, experience, do see, look forward to? A: Q: What cultural (Religous) traditions do you celebrate? A: Q:What are important values you have learned from your family? A: Q: How is your new home different from Libya? (peoplle, dress, traditions, values) A: Q: What do you enjoy doing with your free time while living in Libya? A: Travel Tips hello , 谋 lived there during the 90s and to be honest there is not much to say , cant really find answers to your qyestions :)) first it is a very lazy country , everywhere is open t谋ll noon and then everyone goes to sleep.( even in winter ) . There are many Bulgarians and Hungarians working there in the health sector like doctors and nurses. There are nooo proper shops to do some shopp谋ng , who ever goes abroud you give them lists and they bring to you . You are not allowed to talk or make a comment on the leader of Libya, if you do you are in jail. When you are in Libya you look forward for the day that you will leave Libya. They celebrate all Muslim Eids and also the birth of Prophet Mohammed. And everybody ( the men ) is called Mohammed in Libya. I was a Turkish student in Tripoli Collage during 1991 -1994 . nothing to do at free times except there is a place called Regata where all the foreigners live near the beach and everbody goes there. Now I am at my homelands and I wouldnt compare Turkey to Libya Source(s): No offence to Libyans but this is the truth. Other Travel Tips A little internet research will give you a lot of info on these topics. Check out the websites I listed below for descriptions on traditions, style of housing, daily life. Tripoli is supposed to be a nice mediterrean city. The most important religious celebration would be the holy month of Ramadan for muslims. Other important muslim holidays are also celebrated. Libya has several well-preserved Roman and Greek ruins along its northern coast, as well as desert safaris (with trips to oases and palm groves). http://www.cp-pc.ca/english/libya/family... http://www.cp-pc.ca/english/libya/index.... http://countrystudies.us/libya/46.htm... http://www.britannica.com/eb/article-465... http://www.morejan.com/?lno=1&page=tours... http://www.lonelyplanet.com/worldguide/d... |
