Has anyone ever lived/ worked in Ghana? |
Travel Info How was it? I read recently that it is possible to live there for about 拢40 a month. That sounds preferable to the cost of living in the UK. Would you recommend it as a place to emigrate to? Please share your experiences; I am intrigued. Travel Tips Hi, I currently live in Ghana with my husband and family, and we're here for almost 3-1/2 years. It's not an easy transition, as we're originally from the US, but it's doable. As for living on about 拢40 a month, well, also doable, but with some very exceptional belt tightening. I feel certain that that estimate is more for a local than for an expat. Feel free to email me if you've got specific questions. Oh, you might also want to check out tripadvisor as I'm the "local expert" for Accra, so perhaps in the forums there some questions or issues may be addressed. Other Travel Tips no sorry ya ttly it is awesome and ceap, i loved it there but then i moved to america and i miss it a lot if u go there spend a lot of time by the river my favorite place to be Yes, many people have lived and worked in Ghana over the years. I haven't, but a close friend has (although they have recently relocated to Buenos Aires). I know it was a fairly cheap place for them to live.
