Actually I am Ethiopian, and I can tell you most of the people I know are considered "beautiful" but I don't think many get to know their personalities...If they did, they would know that people vary. I've heard more than enough times that Ethiopians are "stuck-up" but I don't think we are; it's called pride, and some can't comprehend that word, let alone internalize it. But then there are some common misconceptions that all Ethiopians are poor, hungry and skinny. To be honest, not everyone is struggling over there; If you went to Addis Ababa you would think otherwise. But, of course people overlook this fact and form their own opinions on little-known-knowledge. Source(s): My Life.

generrally i think of a hot climate that is aids infested and people who are malnutritioned, other then that the ones i have met here in the USA are pretty people with really dark skin
