What is it like in a place such as Libya for a 14 year old girl.? |
Travel Info I want to go libya to see my father, but my mom won't let me because she says it is too dangerous for a 14 year old girl to go. My mom told me I would have to wear an abaya or something, and that i will get married off to someone, is this true or not? what is it like in Libya for someone like me? is it dangerous or what? Sorry im askin so much but i just really wanna get some facts down. Travel Tips Although I have not been to Libya, I have been to Morocco and Tunisia, which are also Muslim countries where part of the population is Arab. In my experience, it is not dangerous for women there, but you should wear the local clothing or at least cover your hair and skin. Even if you do so though, the men can be very pesky. You should not go alone. The best would be to take a male friend or relative with you and he should accompany you everywhere. Others ha ha , go to ur father right now , if u want to make sure ask him , Libya is hot and boring don't worry It is safer Libya than you own town. no one can force you to do anything you do not like the law forbids marriage without the approval of the girl you do not have to wear Islamic cloths unless you want to Your causal cloths will be enough . wearing too modern cloths can attract many eyes only |
