Travel Info
I am going to be going down in a couple of weeks for a few months and would like to possibly buy a motorcycle and hit the road. I don't know if I will need a special endorsement to ride, if I need an international license (or at least the penalty for not having one), how much you can get a bike for in BA, or the frequency of gas stations out in the country. And I can't seem to find any information on any of this. It probably doesn't help that my Spanish is poor (at best). I have read that only about 30% of the roads in Argentina are sealed and that many of these are home to some pretty gnarly potholes... Also, does anyone have any suggestions of stuff to check out that is off the beaten track? Thanks much. |
