Travel Tips You should check out Kandy, which is the place where the have Buddha's tooth and sacrifice there. In July/ august there are many festivities going on. You should also check out the beautiful beaches there are. For example Negombo beach. Anuradhapura is Sri Lanka's first capital and definitely worth visiting. A short drive from there is Mihintale, there you'll find a lot of Buddhist structures and you should take the small buses or the 3 wheeler.An adventure on it's own.\ Close to Colombo is the mount Lavina, well, worth visiting, it has beautiful views. Then there is Sri Pada, also called Adam's peak, it's a sacred place for many religions. I will give you some links which are very helpful in planning your trip. Very good choice going there.
