Travel Tips Absolutely, on a recent Cathay Pacific flight I had a conversation with the head flight attendant, she asked me where I was from and I asked her where she was from, she told me she was from the Philippines. All Cathay flight attendants must speak English, and the Hong Kong based ones must also be fluent in written and spoken Chinese. However, Tagalog is one of the languages that combined with English, is also accepted as a requirement. A number of Asians are prejudiced : "lighter the better" so the filipinas should be mestizo |
