Why are there so many message parlors with asian women working in them? |
Travel Info Is it actually part of the asian culture after all Travel Tips It is definitely not part of the "asian" culture at all. but what i type below is purely subjective and its just my opinion. The fact that you're seeing many asian woman in massage parlours is because you're probably living in a country where they are immigrants. Being an immigrant, and generally in most cases, if the immigrant is not skilled, they will be forced to resort to many measures to earn a living while trying their best to remain ethical or legitimate. There are many massage parlours (and some of them turn out to be covertly sexual) but it is a known statistic to many masseurs that most many asian women appeal to foreigners (partly because of the sexual connotations that are tied to them)(unfortunately). That appeal however, would mean, more business, making it easier to survive. Again , liek i said, this is just a theory that i have in my mind, and SURELY does not apply to everybody. the term "asian" itself has been stereotyped enough already. and again, it is not necessarily part of their culture, as it may be huge in Thailand, but not in China, or India, which btw is an Asian country. [Elevenloops] Others Thai are famous for sexual type massages... they just are better at it. They also do good at the medical profession and beauty. Basically, they seem to do good in anything that involves hospitality, care or pampering people. Its like saying "why do Italians always eat Pizza?" would you prefer to see big black men instead of those asian women? you get my point!!!!! first of all, massage business is huge in asia and secondly, yes, it is in our culture. may be because they (the parlours) are in Asia? Asian countries = Asian Women? Think about it! |
