look im thinking traveling in few times, Japan, but i was thinking which country are close to Philipiness by Plane, Japan, hong kong, Malaysia or Singapore?

Why not think about going to Vietnam. Beautiful ancient country. It has a Forbidden City like China, it has great hotels very reasonable, fantastic food, beautiful beaches and islands, mountains for hiking and best of all friendly people. I will return there in 13 days. Ya. cheers.

the closest would be hong kong which is about an hour and a half by plane from manila. the farthest will be japan (not to mention the most expensive)

Japan, Singapore and Malaysia are quite equidistant from the Philippines.

I should warn you though that contrary to claims by self confessed travel writers, I was robbed in Jalan Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

malaysia and singapore are probably closest; japan being furthest. i know that there are budget flights from philippines to singapore and/or malaysia. check tigerair / cebu pacific / jetstarasia / airasia / valuair.
