People with a mental illness traveling in Asia?

Travel Info
I would like to know do the police handle people with a mental illness any different to normal people in Asia?

I am going to the Philippines in August for 13 weeks and would like to know that the police are not going to treat me any different to other people because i have a mental illness.

Travel Tips
Assuming you commit no crimes, they won't know you have a mental illness. I have never heard of anyone asking that on a visa application. But in truth, depending on what it is, they might be nervous around you. It's a bit less out in the open there.
Others
Keep your medicine with you all the time.
as long you dont harm people, people dont care.
