Has anyone gone to Sri Lanka for vacation?

Is December-January a good time to go?
Any recommendations on a nice resort $200 usd
or slightly less?

Yap went there on BIZ there fore stayed in Holliday INN near GAL face,
I dont know much about the resorts but prefer to stay in TAJ hotel or on Just opp to Holiday INN, it was residence of voiceory in Britisch times.
My friends there took me many places and saw beautiful resorts i dont remeber the names but if one is coming from Airport dont turn left towards city turn right their r many resorts and beautiful places,
Sorry to share this ODD story,i saw this question 2 days ago since no one replied i thought its better i share what i remember
