What do you know about Bali island in Indonesia? |
Travel Info I think, Bali is a beautiful island. last month, I went Bali. I can see Blue Sea, then, I went a beach, that's name is Kuta Beach. what a beautiful! next I went to "Tanah Lot". I saw many monkey in there.suddenly, my eyes glass taken Monkey! hiks..hiks.. But, in there I think, I had Better experience. Travel Tips i havent been there. but yea, as everyone says, it's beautiful there and has nice beaches. ive been to Boracay in phillipinnes last yr and i had fun there. check it out... i think Bali and boracay are very similar. Others its a nice place, i went there like last year in december, but i heard there was a very recent tsunami that hit the Kota beach very badly. anyway, i really loved the kota beach. Bali is beautiful. Been there couple of times. Always go to authorised money changer because those unauthorised ones that offer you better exchange rates will in the end cheat you with their hand and counting trickery. I've been to Bali several times. I wouldn't bother with Kuta-it's not the real Bali. Ubud is beautiful. Take a walk on Monkey Forest road and go to Cafe Wayan. Or find Naughty Nouri's Warung and say "Hi" to Brian and Nouri. Take a tour up to Mt. Batur, the old volcano. Go down to Uluwatu and do a little surfing. Just enjoy the time you're in Bali, it ends all too soon. I was in Bali last February &, if you are going there with money to spend, I highly recommend that you stay at Conrad Bali Resort and Spa --- a very romantic & serene place, great food, & excellent service. Also visit Bali Hai Beach Club, which has a beautiful shoreline. Get an outdoor massage while you are there. On shopping at hawker places, always start to bargain at 50% off. If the storekeepers say 'no', walk away. If they come running after you, then you can negotiate. If they don't, that just means they offered you the last & only price they are willing to sell the item to you. im indonesian, bali is known for God island ....absolutely beautiful island ...i;ve never seen like the place like bali before ,,such a blend between the cultures ,beaches, the friendly people, the foods ....and shopping ! a must visit place in bali : - kuta beach for famous beach and shopping - jimbaran bay for watch the sunset and seafood - ubud - beautiful rice fields terrace and silver art shops - tanah Lot - temple and sunset - double 6 st - bars and resto - seminyak - art shopping - nusa dua - beach and up class market hotels suggestion for the hotel : grand hyatt hotel nusa dua ! absolutely breathtaking view !!...( nusa dua area ) Bali is a great island to visit or live on. Just wandering around in a village can lead to all sorts of internesting experiences - but not so interesting in Kuta unless you are heavily into shopping! Markets are great places to visit too. Early in the morning they are crowded and give you a fascinating insight into Balinese life. If you stay in a hotel, you won't get much of a chance to see more than the tourist traps. Ubud is a great place to get away from the ratrace. Lots of homestays there where you get to know the family and get taken into ceremonies and other traditional activities if you would like to.
