Travel Info Has anybody there already been to Tibet, what do you think about it? Travel Tips I've not been,but Tibet would be near the top of my places around the world to visit.It would be great to see sights such as Mt.Kailash,but I think you'd have to be quite tough and resilient to handle the conditions there. Others i did want to go to vegas but i couldnt so i went there tibet instead Tibet? Sorry, I don't gamble. No. never been. But it's now a top tourist destination for the Chinese since they completed passenger rail service there last year. I'd love to go. It's high on my list. Maybe this summer or next I'll hop on a train and take me and my sweetie on a two week vacation to Shangra-la. The hell with the lack of western standards........it's not about the Ritz, it's about being adventurous and willing to put up with a some BS to experience something most of us want too, but have no guts because 5 star accommodation's are lacking.
