I have 1 week to spend in one of these countries...Singapore..Malaysia... vietnam? |
Travel Info Which country should i go to?....and any ideas what to do there? Travel Tips I would love to spend a week in Singapore, It's a fantastic place. Have never been to Vietnam, they say it is unforgettably beautiful. Think I'd go to Nam because it seems more likely to have another chance to go to S/pore at some time in the future, but I could be talking out of my proverbial. Others deff. vietnam ! Oh Vietnam is such a beautiful country go for it..and vietnameses are very friendly Vietnam............. one of my friends travels there for 6 weeks every year to visit his dad and he absolutely raves about the country. He says the people are amazing and the scenery is truly spectacular. I would say that it is one of the few countries that is not suffering from mass tourism and if you truly want a holiday where you see the real country then go there. I have been to Singapore and I would say that maybe a week would be too long. There are some great beaches and really good shopping but it's such a melting pot of cultures that sometimes it feels quite westernised. Saying that it still is a great place and you can't go wrong there. Whatever you choose I am sure you will have a fantastic holiday. i would like to go to VIETNAM instead of malaysia or singapore, because VIETNAM is more cheaper and the culture very interesting and bigger, more place to visit but it is not clean as singapore thought,i like to go to place as SAIGON,NHATRANG,HALONG BAY,HUE,CAN THO,HANOI,DALAT,DANANG!the interesting thing is SAIGON you will feel like you are in the middle FRANCE AND USA cities because it was influence from both country about architect As a Malaysian, I would say Vietnam. I have only been to the North. Hanoi is beautiful and Sapa is a must. Great people and food. You will not regret it. Yes to Vietnam after spending three days in Singapore spending the time variously in Chinatown, Little India (Rochor Road) and Arab Street ploughing through a plethora of food tastes that will make you think it's your birthday every day. Then to the peace and calm of the Vietnam countryside - the cities can be a bit (how to say it?) hectic! But again be prepared for a serious challenge to your digestive system!...in the nicest possible way. |
