Travel Tips nice Others Tahiti is really beautiful with several different islands to explore. The prices are very high but within reason for a normal upper middle class budget. You will find the French locals to be a bit irritating. They are standoffish and can be quite rude. Remember one thing. 85%+ of the people that go to Tahiti are on their honeymoon. (fact) so this is not a great place to party and meet new friends. But... the beauty of the islands goes far towards makeing this problem a minor irritant. Btdt. I don't think that I would go back but it was worth the trip! Tahiti is a beautiful country. But what I don't understand is how can you go solo when you're a couple.... Please explain.
