Is Kuala Lumpur ( City in Malaysia ) a modern city? |
Travel Info I am Australian. I wanna travel to Kuala Lumpur but I have no idea how Kuala Lumpur looks like. Can anyone tell me? Travel Tips traffic jam, hot and very polluted city Others come to penang instead. If you've been to Bangkok, well its not like that. I would say its more like Singapore.......more sterilised with numerous skyscrapers (highly developed).........remember alcohol, might be a problem, due to it being an Islamic state. Its worth a look though, if only to visit the 2nd tallest building in the world (Petronas Towers). Yes, It is a great and very conveniet city. yes It is pretty modern, much like Melbourne or Sydney. NO. There's a disconnection between the people and the place. There might be nice and newer buildings but gosh, the people are so barbaric. People SPIT on the floor inside restaurants. If you go to the restroom, people wash their feet on top of the sink supposedly for face. Yuck! |
