Travel Info Hi, I wanto to know what do you think about Armenia, ,? Travel Tips I would think most people dont know much about Armenia, let alone having an opinion. Well cant blaim them; no oil, no major war, no strategic location; no.. (as far as I know of course). It used to be part of Soviet Union. Can use some friendly approach towards and from it's neighbours. Gets loads of money from USA and Armenians overseas. There are many rich and famous Armenians in the western countries. Large amount of shares in MGM Casino, I believe, is owned by an Armenian American Billionare Gentelman. One of my favorite tennis players also has Armenian roots. Turkish Armenians, by in large, are also fiscally better off than the Armenian Armenians (did this make sense?). Relatively small country. Perhaps borders the black sea. I think it was in a war with one of it's neighbours over some land dispute some time ago. Not sure if they are still fighting. They have similar food as the Turks; and love the Turkish Food and Coffee (loads of synergy in the kitchen); ironically (very few) Armenians (that I know) hate Turks (not the food of course); most my Armenian friends are very well educated and come from good families. All the Armenians I know are not in Armenia and have never been to Armenia. Religion is some form of Ortodox Christianity. Looks very old school and very traditional. You can recognize most Armenians from their distinct and traditional last names. Dr. Koberkean -sp?- (known for his assisted mercy killings of terminally ill), I think, is from Armenian disent. Another famous Turkish Armenian family is Zilcian -sp?-; now lives in Canada or USA some where. Well known for producing (arguably) the best simbols in the planet; i think they are indeed the best. Their last name, I think, means "simbol makers" or something along those lines. How did I do? Others I have to confess, I really don't think about Armenia. never heard about armenia. sorry i dont know anything about armenia... what's that? ammonia? it's great. good food pretty women off the top of my head |
