Don't try lose it.... its who you are. Just try to learn as much english as you can and repeat them to yourself and other people so you can be more into it. Just try to get people to help you b/c after a while, when your english is better more people (girls) will think your accent it sexy..... besides I don't think you can lose you accent anyway!
The bad news is that you probably won't be able to lose your accent entirely - most people who learn a language after adolescence do not usually develop native-like pronunciation.

However, that's not a real problem - as any English teacher should tell you, having an accent is OK -even cool-, as long as you speak clearly (and intelligently I would add!). A foreign accent is part of your identity and something you can be proud of.

However, if you insist on losing your accent, you could take an orthophony course. You may learn how to speak with a native-like pronunciation but it will probably be most effective in rehearsed or slow, carefully delivered speech. IMO, these courses are rarely worth the cost, though.
i think ur problem is a universal problem for people that speak two or more languages. i speak Spanish. i speak perfect Spanish and English but sometimes for either language i speak to fast and people cant understand me. this happens when i am overly mad, happy or sad, even though when i am calm i speak both languages perfectly with no accent. by the way i am 20 and born and raised in the USA. this problem may also have to do with shyness, i am. but trust me it gets better with age(shyness), even thought i still am. anyhow, i think this problem has to do with ur mind having a problem with switching languages, so quickly. but this is something that is natural. the best thing u can do is force yourself to think longer before u speak. by the way, i know where Bangladesh is(LOL). so really dont feel bad. it happens to many other people. and about the lossing accent. it will be very hard, but forget that dont lose ur accent this is what makes people different! i bet girls like ur accent. so keep it. dont be afraid to be yourself. good luck:)

It's cool to have an accent. Look at the Brits and Aussies, they are cool!
All you've got to do is read! And perhaps you should listen to books on tape and try and copy their accents...I'm also bengali but I grew up in new York and went to school their, so ive never had that problem, but i see many of my bengali classmates with the same problem as you!...and i offer them the same advice...thats how i learned spanish and italian...
