If you are looking for more higher positions and opportunities to travel, you can be confident meeting people around the world If you are looking for this kind of work, even you found a job , it is better to start working for this degree, it would lead you far.. . Others If you mean a tourism degree, yes it would be an advantage especially if you plan to work for travel companies and government tourism agencies. But most of all, you should have the passion for tourism or travel. In my case I am a self taught tourist "guide". I never got a tourism degree.
