Why is asia called the land of the extremes? |
Travel Info Please give reasons. As much reasons as you can :D Travel Tips I think Antarctica is the land of the extremes... Others cause of its people? idk because of its hilled terrian..ummmm china is in asia and there a little overcrowed and ppl over there come...oh thts it its wayy overcrowed Weopons of Mass Destructions....... Cat and Dog eating is still over there....., their way of executions... beheadings and such... Etc.... Extreme Because in Asia you can find people who eat dead corpses (they are know as aghoris) and at the same time you find people who cover there mouths while talking so that they accidentally don't kill a fly who might go into their mouth while they talk (they are known as followers of the Jain sect). i guess bc of their different lifestyle. It probably has to do with the records that are held in Asia. The tallest point: Mount Everest. The most populous country: China (soon to be surpassed by India). The largest country: Russia. The lowest point: Mariana Trench (in the Pacific Ocean but closest to Asia). I'm sure there are more. I doubt it's about their cultures, because that's only the judgment from a Western perspective. From their perspective, our cultural practices can be bizarre and extreme. i never heard it called that before, i don't beleive it's any different then any other part of the world. |
