I fly out to Kuala Lumur tonight - what is there to do there? |
Travel Info I'm there for 3 nights, can anyone recommend anything decent to do there? Travel Tips disco Others Connect 4 and Monopoly might pass the time. It's such an interesting place; as soon as you arrive at the KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) you'll have to use an 'areotrain' (a train with no driver) to go to the arrival's hall in another building. There's also a large shopping street you'll enjoy in the city (right close to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel) and the rest is up to you... explore and enjoy! Go to Zouk, ride on the huge ferris wheel.. EAT, EAT, and EAT Visit KLCC where the twin towers are located. Go to the top for a panoramic view of the city. Shop a bit but must try some local food at the revolving restuarant in the KL tower. Visit the central market, Chinatown, national museum, Thean Hou Temple, Lake gardens and Bird Park. Have a drink in the evening on Bintang Walk. Visit a Pasar Malam (night market - watch out for pickpockets). Take taxi to Batu Caves. Visit Putra Jaya. If you are really adventurous, book a overnight stay at the Taman Negara (3-4hrs by car) and see a real tropical jungle. Take an umbrella with you to shade yourself. here is some suggestion:- Day 1:- go to genting highland by taxi, go early morning and come back evening. (its the world highest casino and it also have theme park) Day 2:- go to batu caves, KLCC (twin tower), KL Tower and at night go to petaling streets (chinatown) Day 3:-go to "putrajaya" 1/2 day tour and do some shopping back in kl It's Visit Malaysia Year 2007. Do visit KLCC, Eye On Malaysia, Batu Caves, ChinaTown or maybe Melaka. http://www.tourismmalaysia.gov.my/... http://malaysia.travel/consumer/default.... Hope you'll enjoy your stay. Don't forget to sample the food. |
