European influence in S.E. Asia was stronger in the Malay Peninsula and Indonesian Archipelago Because?

Travel Info
A. these states did not have strong, central monarchies
B. these states had fewer goods to trade
C. these states were Christian
D. these states needed slaves

Travel Tips
A: TRUE. Malay Peninsula and the Indonesian archipelago had different small kingdoms and these are played by the Dutch and british against each other, so the result is that Malaysia and Indonesian were easily conquered by Europeans, as compared to that of Thailand, which had a strong king and was never conquered by Europeans at all.

B: Is false because Malaysia and Indonesia have a lot of goods to trade. In fact, the Indonesian and Philippine archpelago was the melting pot of traders from Europe, Arabia, Japan, and China.

C: Is false, because Malaysia is technically Hindu at first then converted to Islam. IN Indonesia, the people were first Buddhist, then converted to Hindu, and then to Islam. By the time Europeans reached these lands, they were are nominally Muslims.

D: Is false, because slavery is not really a major trade there. In fact, there has been only one slavery documented in Malaysia and Indonesia, and that is Enrique the Black, who was enslaved from Cebu in the Philippines and sold to Magellan in a market in Melaka (now in Malaysia).
Others
A.
None of the others really make sense. China and Japan had strong central governments so they were able to block out a lot of european influence.
Because these states have no basic religion to fall on and got converted to Christianity and started following and copying the westerners, except the Muslims who always follow their religion faithfully. Also they were small and dispersed in very small islands and did not have the power to oppose the ruthless westerners.
None of your reasaons given.
These islands were known as the Spice Islands, and europeans came to trade, later annnexing the islands as colonies.
None of the above. Because they were colonised by the British and Dutch respectively.
