Does anyone know where we can get cheap accommodation on the Gold coast (QLD AUST) for 6 people and 1 infant? |
Travel Info looking to go from december 21 to 28th. doesnt matter if it is a caravan park or anything, need accommodation to be under $1K and be able to pay it off before the holiday Travel Tips Sounds great! I personally love self contained apartments for things like this, and there are so many on the Gold Coast. Depending on how cozy you want to be, you can get a 3 bedroom apartment which would fit all of you, or you could get 2 or 3 smaller apartments in the same complex so everyone has some space. I always start with a travel site such as wotif.com or takeabreak.com.au and look at their web rates. If you see the rates online and then ring the place directly you can often get similar rates but be able to book further ahead. Just on a quick look, I found the Isle of Palms resort which has rates of $80 for 2 bedroom, 85-95 for 3 bedroom, and $199 for a 4 bedroom penthouse listed on wotif.com. Casablanca Palms has 3 bed apartments for $110/night, Sailfish Cove has 3 bed apartments for $100/night - just have a look until you find something that seems to suit. On takeabreak.com.au there are also lots of holiday houses, and there is a good seach engine there where you can book further in advance including December. Have a look at the Tweed Heads Unit, Coolangatta on that site. Good luck and have a great holiday!
