Travel Info Hey thanks you both for your quick answers.. im a 20 y/o girl, so my interests are cool places, love the nature, love sea related things, and also things to do at night, I am living at Dunedin, so to start places near Dnd will help, and about Singapore and Thailand max I want to stay a week, so what do u think? Travel Tips Welcome to Dunedin. you will really love it. You have a great answers already, but check out the link below and have a look at the city through the web cams Dunedin Kiwi. Source(s): http://www.cityofdunedin.com/city/?page=... Other Travel Tips well i f u ask me everywhere in NZ is great Be sure to visit Taronga...beautiful landscape, beaches, nightlife. Can't beat Auckland for water activities, restaurants, surrounding areas of city, great museum (a must see), friendly people, casino, red lion beer, Kings Cross, and excellent exchange rate for US Dollar. kings cross is in Sydney as in AUSTRALIA and... its spelt Tauranga anyways, Auckland and Wellington are a must if you want to see NZ... especially for night life. as for nature, just getting a rental car and driving around is all you need. there are signpost for just about every "tourist attraction" on the road. if you like the "touristy places" Rotorua is fun other wise sign up for a Kiwi Experience (http://www.kiwiexperience.com/)... (alot like contiki) its pretty budget friendly and you'll get to meet lots of ppl your own age. about Singapore and Thailand, a week isn't really long enough, especially if you want to travel and see stuff further out of the city How many of the beaches have you been to near Dunedin? (I still haven't been to all of them...) So, have you done any of the walks in "From Sea to SilverPeaks?" How about tramping? Lots of great walks to test your mettle, enjoy nature, meet new people... (Pineapple track, Routeburn, etc.) How about the Otago Rail Trail? Walk or ride or bike~ A great way to see the country, bundle up and take binocs or a telescope for brilliant night sky viewing... Just a couple of ideas that won't cost you an arm or a leg :-) enjoying my own backyard in NZ |
