Which places are the best to visit, in New Z ? |
Travel Info hi! I'm new here so I would like to know which are the places I have to go here at NZ and an advice about which places visiting out NZ like between Thailand and Singapore? What would be funnier? Travel Tips I have never been to Thailand or Singapore so can not answer that, but I lived in the south island of New Zealand for many years My must do lists are: Wellington 鈥?Te-Papa NZ Museum http://www.tepapa.govt.nz/tepapa... Top of the south island - Nelson is a must with the great beaches, vineyards, outdoor adventure and art centres. http://www.nelsonnz.com. See Abel Tasman National park http://www.abeltasman.co.nz - http://www.aquataxi.co.nz Marlborough / Picton 鈥?The Sounds - http://www.destinationmarlborough.com... Whale watching is in Kaikoura. http://www.kaikoura.co.nz http://www.whalewatch.co.nz http://www.whales.co.nz http://www.worldofwhales.co.nz Christchurch Best attractions are http://www.chchattractions.co.nz... The Gondola is great - http://www.gondola.co.nz Christchurch's International Antarctic Centre - http://www.iceberg.co.nz Franz Joseph Glacier - http://www.franzjosefglacier.com... Queenstown 鈥?Milford Sounds, http://www.fiordland.org.nz 鈥?Bungy jumping, AJ Hackett - http://www.ajhackett.co.nz Wanaka 鈥?Lake Wanaka - http://www.lakewanaka.co.nz/index.cfm/ho... Queenstown - adventure capital of NZ. Costly little place with all the attractions on offer. You can't pass up a bungy jump though. http://www.ajhackett.co.nz and the Milford Sounds, http://www.fiordland.org.nz Others It's a complex, diverse and large-for-an-island country. In other words, there are too many places to suggest to you without more information. Pls add some additional info such as: your age or interests, which part of NZ you will be staying in, how long you have to spend there, whether your available funds will be budget, medium or really splashing out. What time of year? All this will help narrow it down and allow us to give you some meaningful answers. As far as the rest of your question goes, if I am correct in guessing you want to know which is the best place for a stopover on the way to NZ??? Again need to know more about you first. My preference is Singapore for a short stopover, or Thailand if you have time for a longer stopover. Do not recommend Malaysia or HK - but that's just my opinion, you may like them. u really can't compare NZ with Thailand and Singapore...both 3 countries are different.. as u know, NZ are so blessed with good weather, lakes, mountains, etc but for both Thailand & Singapore they r not. these 2 countries are either hot or raining season. if u r into shopping fake branded goods, Thailand is the place. but for Singapore, it is more to just food and shopping not much of attractions. it still depend what kind of holiday u r looking for Dunedin is a great place to visit at any time of year, but bring you woolly u/wear and jumpers, and a windproof jacket. We often have a cold start to the day and it is easier to take something off as the day warms up. I urge you to have a look at the city on the web cams in the link below.
