National parks in QLD Australia? |
Travel Info hi im goinf bushwalking in the gold coast hinterland with my partner. im just wondering if anyone knows if u are allowed to pee in the bushes as there are only bathrooms at the beginning of the track? i dont wanna do it and get in trouble from rangers Travel Tips unfortunately toilet facilities are very poor in the national parks; therefore you have no choice but to go pee in the bush. Carry RID with you if it is damp or may rain as the leeches will attach themselves to you. Take wet wipes. The rangers are very few and far between and very unlikely you will see one while walking. check with binna burra or o'reilleys before you arrive to see what tracks are closed Others should be ok I can't see a problem. When you gotta go, you gotta go. Just be careful something doesn't bite you on the bum, like green ants etc. They can really hurt. I think the main rule is: if you carry it in, then carry it out again. Just don't leave cans, bottles and paper etc behind. Have fun, it's a pity none of the creeks and waterfalls will have much water, if any. You are in the bush !! PEE anywhere .....LOL Just don't leave rubbish around. Have fun hiking! |
