Travel Info What are the ups and downs of living in an Australian city? Travel Tips no downers here mate best country on earth. Others They are all up's - no downs living in Aussie! Just one.....All the Australians in Australia!...PMSL! for me the upps are- good weather plenty of work great food and restaurants great night life and pubs plenty of sport to watch beautiful beaches just a stones throw away not to overly populated decent wages for everyone generally people are friendly the downs are- having to work and pay the mortgage (like any where) the worst drought on record (most of the country) water restrictions the Howard government not alot else to complain about really,and as far as big cities go i wouldn't live any where else in the world,Melbourne suits me fine Steps, stairs and lifts (elevators). downs - crowded, air pollution, fast paced, ups - that's where all the jobs are |
