Oh yeh. They certainly do. At the moment there is a significant lack in skilled trades of all sorts in Oz. There is also a housing boom going on, so I am sure there would be plenty of work for your type of skills.

More than likely. In West Aus we are having a resources boom which means that more people are coming here for work...meaning more houses and infrastruacture are going up everywhere...mainly Perth. Houses can take over 2 years to begin being built due to the lack of tradesmen and new suburbs are going up at an amazing rate....and all houses are on gas lines...so I think there would be a lack of gas main layers as well as all the other trades.
