How hard is it to work as a hairdresser in australia with a new canadian hairdressing licence? |
Travel Info I have recently graduated from hairdressing school and want to move to australia to work as a stylist. I know that in Australia it is a 4 year apprentice, so I just dont see them hiring me over someone with that kind of experience. Is there any way around this? Travel Tips You shouldn't have any problems getting a job in Aussie for a hairdresser, I mean hair is hair - there's no difference in what country you are in. try http://mycareer.com.au/jobs/all/trades/h... http://www.alljobs.com.au/hairdresser-re... http://www.workingin-australia.com... Others Hey, if you are a good hairdresser, you will get hired! I'm not Australian, but that would be the sensible thing to do, and the Australians are no less sensible than anyone else. Go! Austalia is a good place to live. my colourist is Canadian, and she is brilliant. I would however, recommend getting some work experience in Canada before you come over here, otherwise it wont look as good on your CV. |
