What are Australia's top 20 tourist attractions? (Ordered by visitors annually)? |
Travel Info What are Australia's top 20 tourist attractions? (Ordered by visitors annually)? Travel Tips List all attractions state by state: Not a bad site.. a starting point anyhow. http://www.australianexplorer.com/touris... Personally my top few would be The Great Barrier Reef Uluru (or known as Aryes rock), Daintree Rainforest, Port Douglas The Gold Coast beaches and theme Parks The Whitsundays but ... you want it ordered by visitors annually - that will take a bit of searching - I don't know any off hand. If I do come across one I'll add it on here later. Others why dont you go to an australian tourism website instead of making someone else do it. The order depends on each individual. As for tourist attractions, it also depends on natural wonders or man-made sights. Personally, I would include Great Ocean Road (and Twelve Apostles), the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Gold Coast and its attractions like Movie World, Warner Bros... etc can also be considered if you're into theme parks. Bridge climb Sydney;Sydney Harbour Bridge Opera House Sydney Blue Mountains Sydney Great Ocean Road Victoria Ayers Rock Northern Territory Barrier Reef Queensland Daintree Rainforest Queensland Cradle Mountain Tasmania The Olgas Northern Territory Bondi Beach Sydney Manly Sydney these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head Some attractions from my state West Australia are: My hometown Exmouth on the Ningaloo Reef where the whalesharks visit every year. We have a huge influx of tourists in winter when the weather is beautiful for diving with the whalesharks and just checking out the beautiful Ninglaoo Reef. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous as well. Margaret River is the best wine region of WA. Gorgeous countryside, world class surf beaches, great local artists etc. Broome is in the Kimberley region and is our pearling captial. Gorgeous town, great beaches, loads of history.....A definate must see. Thousands of visitors annually. Fremantle is close to Perth city and steeped in history. A beautiful port town with great shopping, coffee strip, museums etc. There are hundreds more like the beautiful gorges in the Kimberleys and Karajini National Park in the Pilbara. Also Mount Augusta in the Pilbara is actually a bigger rock than Uluru but isn't as spectacular apparently. And of course there are the other states: Uluru (Ayres Rock) in the N.T Kakadu National Park in N.T Great Barrier Reef in Queensland Daintree Rainforest in Queensland Sydney Opera house and Harbour Bridge in NSW Blue Mountains in NSW Barrossa Valley in SA (wine region) Mount Kosciusko in the Snowy Mountains...Australias highest peak, has ski resorts etc. Australia is a beautiful and diverse country...from deserts to rainforests, beaches to inland bush. There are so many places to visit and heaps of different things to do. Check out the websites provided below and have a good trip! http://www.australianexplorer.com/leisur... http://www.clickforaustralia.com/nationa... http://www.totaltravel.com.au/travel/au/... dude are u from greystanes public shool? cos nice thinking asking other people |
