does anybody know where exactly in australia it is set? like where is summer bay? in real life? v imp..

The Summer Bay surf club is North Palm Beach surf club (whenever I go there, there are gawky tourists taking photos of each other). The headland in the background with the lighthouse (do they show that?) is called Barrenjoey. One of the houses is apparently located in Delecta Ave, Clareville.

And the film crews when they shoot are very unobtrusive. Source(s): I live there.

Added note: there used to be a bus from Sydney Central Business District that took about 90 minutes; I figure Palm Beach must be about 25-30 miles north of Sydney CBD
Yes it is a real place. Very exclusive and expensive, and they dont like visitors. Its near a place calle Bensville.
