You could buy him a 2 week package for about 1700 pounds. Others Im going in september, flights, visa, bank account-everything cost me 1800 euro. Im coming back via LA,so tad more expensive then if your planning on staying for up to a year, need2 have 3300euro in bank account! It really depends on what you want to do and see and what part of Australia will you be visiting? Where are you flying from? any more info would be great. Coming from the US ... expect to spend a few thousand dollars for the airfare and hotels alone (this is flying coach and staying at economy hotels), and then add at least 500-1000 dollars/week for extraneous expenses (theatre tickets, excursions, meals, taxi's, souvenir's, etc.). It all depends on what you want to do. However if you do want to have a good holiday, you will need to spend money, no matter where you are going in the world. there is a lot to see in Melbourne, and to get round the city, there is the free tram or bus.Find out if there is an air pass in Australia. That will give you the opportunity to see a lot of Australia. |
