What to do for fun?

My grandfather served in the Army Air Corps during WW2. One of the places he was at was Brisbane (please excuse me if i spelled that wrong) When he came back to the US he spoke very highly of Brisbane and had told me that one day he wanted to take me there with him. well sadly he passed a few years back, but i still want to go. Could anybody tell me about some fun things to do while i am there? thanks!

Sure lol I live in brisbane! Well to start with there are loads of shopping centres with your name on it at Queen Street Mall. Or you could catch the train or drive down to the coast to go to all the theme parks that are there including Dream World, Movie World, Wet N' Wild, Seaworld and loads more.

Wow there is heaps, and yes you did spell it right. You have everything from great nitelife to fabulous shops and loads of outdoor activities.
You can go down the coast to all the great theme parks, to up the coast where you have some lovely beaches. Take you pick as I am sure there will be more than enough for you to do here is Brissy.
And don't forget the 'Australian Zoo' just north of Brisbane. Home of the late Steve Irwin.
