Travel Info After the search was called off a week later, was there any more news? Travel Tips Not as far as i know...the best theory is that the three crew members were all washed overboard in some rough weather which happened during their voyage and none were able to get back on the yacht. i don't think their bodies have been found yet though. Others Good question! I assume you are referring to the one that still had the meal sitting on the table but nobody on board off the Queensland coast. I haven't heard anything actually! Yes - it's been all quiet on the news front about that story. How strange..... The last I heard..the family of the yachtsmen had funded or were about to fund, a search themselves but this was ages ago and I haven't heard any more since then. It's really strange as the theory is they were washed overboard in bad weather but if that is so, why were their meals still on the table? They would have fallen off in bad weather surely! It's a terrible tragedy especially for their poor families who may never know what happened. I read about it in our local papers and I really feel sorry for them.No news so far.We can only pray for them. you know that happens way too often people go missing out at sea and not that far out to sea either plenty go missing up far north Qld here - and have not been found - strange I feel for the families - no answers |
