Australia or uk? |
Travel Info if you had the chance to live in australia instead of england which would you choose, i ask this as i have met english lady and she and her daughter are undecided even though i have taken them both to australia, and they liked it there, so you lot convince them Travel Tips oh, thats a tough one.. </sarcasm> UK - small, - miserable, cold weather, constant rain - mundane, pale, ugly and arrogant citizens - overly expensive - lack of beaches or tourist attractions - sole form of recreation is getting quite drunk Australia, - big, spacious - depth of climate - warm summers, mild winters/snowy winters - variation of scenery - tropics/beaches, mountains, rainforest, desert, bush - attractive and laid back folk - high incomes, strong economy, impeccable living standards - full of national parks and world heritage sites - unique wildlife and aboriginal history hmm.. Others It is really up to them...what would benefit them more. Personally I'd probably choose australia - nicer weather, near the beach, friendly people, bigger houses. The question is, where would they have a better quality of life? I'd choose Uk. Only because the wild life here isn't so wild.. lol Australia........... Australia has so much going for it. Lovely weather, beaches, people, all those lovely BBQ that anyone can just turn up and use. Common sense government (well by comparison) no EU rules. Good schools, marvellous health service. Opportunities, that 'Can Do' philosophy. Hell, why aren't *I* living there? UK! best place ever. austrailia is fun to go to, but i couldnt imagine living there. in the uk the towns are nicer...and its more enjoyable to stay there over a long period of time. plus~ i personally like british accents more than austrailian I would chose New Zealand if I had to make a choice. |
