Yep, went there for my honeymoon and it was fantastic. Expensive but a great holiday!!!!!

Yes, I went about 5 years ago. It was during August and the temperature was perfect. Great place to do barrier reef tours, go diving, sailing or just lie on the beach with a good book. I think I stayed at the main resort - Hamilton Island Resort and seem to remember that the preferred mode of transport was little golf buggies..... have fun!

You know John Laws is the ambassador for Hamilton Island. He appointed himself!
Seriously he broadcast there a couple of weeks ago and said he did the program topless on the beach with all the handmaidens around him. Must have been nice!
