Is it alot different the united states? What is the major Language? And we want to move to a more tropical//beachy part of the country...so where would you sugest? I am 15 years old so i would be starting my sophomore year in highschool..so what kind of schools do they have there? Are they like the U.S? do they have to where uniforms? What is the climate like? Do you have alot of freedom there? And what areas would you suggest?...we are looking for a nice sized city..(not to small or to little) Near the ocean with nice houses and good schools..that is warmer. Oh and are the waves big enough to surf? What kind of sports are there? Oh and haha are there alot of cute boys there? =] well i hope some of you can help me with this one...the more information you put on here the better...Thankyou! Travel Tips It depends on what you want. Australia is a larger, livelier, more international place to live. New Zealand is beautiful but more traditionally British. Cities are small by worldwide standards, and have a provincial feel. Personally I vote for Australia, especially Sydney. Speaking of Price, Australia and New Zealand is cheaper than the States, I've been to NYC, New Orleans, AZ, CA..and I live in Australia...so...but then again, Australian Salaries are lower compared to US similar jobs, so I'd say it's about the same, Petrol prices are about double the US rates though.... After years of observation and worldwide statistics, US residents have more spare spending money than australians and New zealanders on average, but Australia and NZ have a more laid back life style, less crowd and lower crime rate. Nz is ranked 2nd peaceful country in the world so I guess the people are great. Major language is English, New Zealand high schools wear uniform, not really sure about the comparison between New Zealand high schools to the U.S as I鈥檝e never been to school there... Right now its winter and its very cold! I'd say live in Auckland, it鈥檚 an awesome city and in summer it's warm. Just by reading your question Its seems you looking for a more warmer, tropical place with surf, I'm a proud New Zealander but you should consider living in Australia, right next door to New Zealand, I'm no traitor but life in Australia is much better and sounds a better option for what your lookin鈥?for. Source(s): My self Other Travel Tips You will need to learn to speak new zealandize or you will not be able to survive. See if your school offers courses in this language asap. i am sure you will enjoy NZ I just met a friend who recently moved here from there. Try a note to: una_surfer@msn.com He is very nice and would enjoy telling you about NZ. In the subject line tell him you know frank24crew Yeah I know him a nice place to visit but I'd never live there, and location, the north or south island, one beats the other hands down so I'm told,as far as shopping goes forget about it,it sux big time.if you want a good place to live talk your parents into Australia, great shopping, great beaches, plenty of variety in location.up north is tropical, down south you can play in the snow.yep some good surfing to be had too,i guess the guys are cute, not for me to say seeing as i am one,but way over your age limit, lol. |
