Can anyone pleeeese help?

i have posted my question in books but thought i would post it in australia too, since it is a book that was used in schools in newzealand.
A co-worker lent me 2 books but 1 was stolen from my office. the problem is that the book is out of print and i do not know the name of the book that was taken. one of the authors is salvatore garguilo. I have tried those online bookstores to no avail and contacted the publisher and the public library in new zealand.
the public library has it but it is not for sale.
Who else can i contact?
your help will be appreciated.
Note: one of the books is called connections, a course in mathematics at curriculum 7

Travel Tips

If the public library has a copy - ring them back and ask for the details of the book, such as the ISBN/ISSN number off the book. (they should know what that means)
My mum works in a bookstore and says that number gives them alot more info to order a book in etc....

Try http://pageandblackmore.co.nz - they can order almost anything from anywhere - I've ordered heaps of books not available in NZ or Aussie but they've got them from the states etc....
Go to their About us / contact page and put in a special order request.
