Where is Australia's best party town? |
Travel Info I am helping to organise a trip away for 15 young hot lasses, and I am looking for the ultimate party town! We aren't looking to go to major city, so an undiscovered masterpiece is definately what we are looking for! Travel Tips How about up the coast in Queensland? The Sunshine or Gold Coast are great for that kind of thing. And they're lovely in the day time as well! Others First weekend in September every year, go to the Birdsville Races. The population of the town swells from 50 to 5000 for the weekend with everyone there to have a good time. People fly or bus in from all over the country. If you don't enjoy yourselves in Birdsville, you won't do it anywhere. Probably Coober Pedy, the underground scene there is pretty hot WELL!!!!! Airlie Beach, Queensland right on the Whitsundays. It is for definatley party girls. Beach, an amzing massive man made lagoon where 'everyone hangs out' sunbaking in bikinis and swimming...awesome. i stayed at Koalas backpackers, that was great large rooms with own bathroom. Pubs clubs and beach, sailing. CHEAP alcohol. One place 'Morroccos have like an entire two hours of $1.50 beers and $2.00 spirits. Wet tee competions, Bucking bull competions, Foam Parties, Pole dancing comps...this is all done very tastefully, so much fun and so warm!! Beer gardens, outside drinking everywhere.
