Another New Zealand and austrailia question? |
Travel Info Which one is better? We are moving..and i would like to know which on is a better place to live...what i am looking for is a small or good sized town or city on a nice sandy beach with big waves. A good place to shop...good resturaunts and a good school. ( i am a 15 year old girl.) And a low costly living. What is the government like to? is it better or worst than the U.S.A (where i am moving from) I would like to know which nation is a more fun place to live..and a couple of cities that would be nice to live in that meets my requirements. Thank you i hope for a lot of answers! (the more you describe to me the better!) extra information would be great to! ( o and if you compare prices in austrailia and NZ to americas please do it in U.S. Dollars..becuase i don't understand other countries money.).. THANKYOU! Travel Tips Hi Paris, I 'd think the Tauranga/Mt Maunganui area in NZ would fulfill all your requirements and contrary to the previous answerer I think NZer's have a very good standard of living compared to Australia. The food is of a very high standard, and cheap, or you can grow your own as the soil is furtile volcanic stuff. Remember every thing is pro-rata, wages to costs in most parts of the world. Generally most NZer"s are a very helpful and friendly race, the government seems to be doing a good job of things and you won't feel like you are living in a second rate USA as you would in Australia. :p Others i heard australia is awesome in sydney and theirs no gpa so you dont neccesarily have to go all out in school ben to bothe and it dont really matter they both are asome layed back places so peace full. i live in usa and its to pushy. the goverment is great. the only thought of a fight or anything is they are not sure they want the queen of englend to be part of government ne more. good luck!!! experinces and traveled all over both AUSTRALIA!!! Iam An Australian actually living in New Zealand..only because my husband has work, we will be moving back at the end of year. The money is way better in Aust, WAY BETTER pays!!! the minimum wage in New Zealand is about $9.00 (6.73331 USD), Australian minimum wage is about $13.45(11.2990 USD.) So even if you were paid minimum wage....aust kicks it. The East Coast of Australia is theway to go. It can be expensive like Sydney is expensive to buy or rent houses. Try smaller towns like. Mackay Queensland - on the coast Central Coast - New South Wales $250.00 per week rental. house is equivalent to $210.018 USD per week The health system in Australia is by far better...New Zealand is a very new country compared and are a little behind. Doctors fees are high in NZ and Aust you have free medicare, so it is way better and so much WARMER !!!!! www.seek.com.au - Jobs www.realestate.com.au - the best one. www.domain.com.au well australia is a fun place to live but there are alot of deadly animals that can kill you! more than half of the worlds deadlest animals live there! new zealand there is pretty much nothing there that can kill you plus it is a beautiful place and has alot of fun activites for the familey. the only hard part about living there is you have to have A Visa to work and to travel back and forth |
