NEW ZEALAND - my family are going to move there in a year or two, I've decided to go, can anyone convince me..

Travel Info
...that i'm doing the right thing coz i'm scared. it's a big move and i'll have to leave behind the life i know and all my friends. it's daunting but i wouldn't want to be without my family, so as they're going i must go too!

Is it a good place to live, what is the culture like and the people?
Whos been and loved it?
Who lives there and loves it?

All feedback greatly appreciated - thanks folks!

I left crime filled westurn Sydney for NZ, and have not looked back since. This country is THE BEST! It is laid back, yet there are so many things to do and see.

The people here are very nice and welcoming (unlike back home) and they treat you as a human being not a $ sign like they do other countries. It is green, clean and not mean

As for the crime, well it is very low here

i can actually walk down the street at night and not get mugged like i did on a walk through blacktown, sydney.

Move here! It is such a nice country, you will make heaps of new mates because the people are so friendly here.

Thanks!

what part #1 and i really liked it just dont move to rotorua cuz it smells like sulfur
the people are nice
i went last summer and loved it
Never been there but it looks like a beautiful place. Look forward to the new adventure. Besides that with the internet you can chat with your friends. Have a good life!
hey, i don't no much about the place, but I think that it's great your going somewhere you have never been, don't worry you will be fine, you will meet new people and make new friends. calm down it will be alright!
Check out newzealand.com/travel/about-nz... I just spend about half an hour there and learned a lot. There's an interactive map that shows the current weather. Awesome landscapes. I think you'll enjoy living there. And if you don't, you can return to where you are. 鈽?br /> And they use celsius instead of farenheit, so to convert the degrees go to onlineconversion.com
NZ is great. Much harder for people to sue each other. The only problem is that everything's hideously expensive. Expect to drop $200 on a decent pair of shoes and $35-$40 for a CD. Not that anyone uses CDs anymore anyway. But it's clean, the people are nice and it's beautiful.
