britain? this is the australia/new zealand section! but many people from here do go to italy on holidays and i have seen newspaper adverts for holiday houses. here in sydney it would be smh.com.au

In New Zealand you could try the New Zealand Herald (distributed all over New Zealand on a daily basis - Sunday Herald the best but charges do apply) they are also online so check it out. You could also try TradeMe but that is mainly for selling online (similar to ebay) or check out Real Estate Agents online.
