If you were to travel around australia which way would be shorter? |
Travel Info north or south? Travel Tips ignore the sceptics . Anticlockwise is shorter.you are on the inside of a large circle ,close to 18000 km. there is more than a tankfull of petrol in it. Others I don't understand the question. If you are going to travel around the entire country...it doesn't matter which way you start off...the distance is the same! If you clarify your question maybe someone can help you. Are you serious? Hello..... no matter what way u go its going to be the same.there isn't a shorter way. re-read the question maybe? Since we drive on the left, it would be slightly shorter to drive around the country in an anti-clockwise direction. The difference would be a few metres out of a total journey of about 20,000 kilometres, so it won't make much difference. that's just like saying you'll get there quicker if you drive faster ! take a piece of string & make a circle out of it. now measure it in a clockwise direction then in an anti clockwise direction. if that is too difficult for you then straighten out the piece of string and measure it with a ruler. anti clockwise is shorter cause you'd be travelling on the inside of the string - just like being on the inside lane in a race. |
