Where are the cheaper but still nice areas to live in Australia.? |
Travel Info I was thinking brisbane (not city) but the suburbs but many say it is expensive and perhaps to aim for a smaller town. I love smaller towns anyway so any particular ideas? It doesn;t have to be brisbane. Would consider anywhere that has decent schools and a hospital within a 45 minute drive. Would consider any state. But would have to have a main hospital and a few care homes around as am a nurse. Any advice greatly appreciated Travel Tips great small town feeling is redland shire - east of brisbane - on the coast. Hospitals in Cleveland - 1 private, 1 public many nursing homes train to city centre of brisbane 45 minutes to gold coast on moreton bay very good private schools in area - Ormiston, Thornlands, Wellington Point ++ Source(s): www.redlands.qld.edu.au www.more2redlands.com.au/ www.redlandstourism.com Other Travel Tips why don't you try noosa. Its a bit far off from the city but its a nice place to live. If you want 45 mins from Brissie, then saying that you would consider 'any State' really only says that you want to live in Qld, .......at a push The Tweed, Nsw. However, Browns Plains, Loganlea, Logan-holme Upper Coomera, Coomera. They're pretty cheap. If you're buying, I would suggest Beenleigh, as its the next boomtown. INSIDE INFO!! What about Cairns! ......North Qld .. it's more spread out Still a big city but no where near like Brissy, Sydney, Melb etc.... and perfect weather each day. Great schools here, hospital is right in town on the esplanade... search for 'cairns' - you will come up with heaps. any advice or help on info about cairns - email me, I live here http://www.welcometocairns.com.au... |
